The Recording Afterwards: From Live Stream to Family and Institutional Asset

The stream ends at midnight; its value is just beginning. Who watched, who missed, and what to do with the recording the next day.

The recording creates itself, under full control

Every Bima broadcast is recorded automatically in the cloud, at two independent points - even if something happened mid-event, the material exists. Minutes after the stream ends, the recording appears in the console, complete and ready.

And it belongs to the organizer alone: it is not published anywhere, not scanned for ads, not exposed to anyone. What happens with it - opening for viewing, downloading, deleting - is your decision, and every such action is logged.

Late viewing: same codes, same control

The simple way to share is to open the recording to the same viewing codes as the stream: the uncle who slept in Los Angeles opens the same link with the same code and watches the chuppah in his own morning. No new link to distribute, and no loss of control - the watermark and personal identification apply to replay too.

The viewing window can be bounded - a week, a month - so the content does not stay open forever. For paid productions, it is also a second sales window for those who missed the live.

A local copy and an archive

Download a full original-quality copy in one click - for a family backup, for a video editor preparing a highlight reel, or for the institution's archive. Downloading is restricted to authorized team members and is logged.

An institution that streams regularly discovers an organized archive building itself: every class, every event, by date, with no manual archive work. That is the difference between a pile of files on someone's disk and an institutional asset.

Frequently asked

How long are recordings kept?

As long as the organization is active and they were not deleted on its initiative. Deletion is an explicit act by an authorized member, is logged, and passes through a 30-day recycle bin - protection against a mistaken click.

Can clips be cut from the recording?

Editing today happens in your editing tool on the downloaded copy. Automatic clip generation from recordings is in active development.

Who can download the file?

Only team members with recordings permission, per the role tiers you defined. A viewer with a code can watch, not download.
