Viewer Entry with Code - No Registration, No Installation
Each viewer receives a short code, types it into their browser, and enters. You decide who's in - and who's out.
The Idea in One Line
The broadcast is not at a public address that anyone can share. The viewer arrives at the viewing page, types in an 8-character code they received from you, and only then does the broadcast open. There's no registration, no password to remember, no app to install - it works in the browser of any phone or computer, including filtered devices.
The code is the authorization, not the link. Therefore, sharing the link alone does nothing, and anyone who passes their code on - loses their spot (see 'Single Session' below).
Two Types of Codes
Personal Code: A code for each viewer, with a name. The name appears on the watermark on the screen, and you can revoke a single viewer without disturbing the others. This is the default and is recommended for any event where it's important to know who is watching.
Shared Code: One code for the entire audience. Convenient for a weekly lesson or a large audience where there's no need to manage names individually. The watermark only displays the session ID and time, without a name.
You can combine: personal codes for rabbis and dignitaries, a shared code for the rest.
Single Active Session Per Code
When a code enters from a new device, the previous device is disconnected within up to two minutes. This prevents one code from turning into ten viewers. The same device that refreshes the page or temporarily loses network connection - is not kicked out: the system recognizes it as the same device and continues with it.
In the broadcast settings, you can allow more than one device per code (for example, a father at home and a mother at work with one family code), or turn off the restriction entirely.
Instant Revocation
Revoked a viewer's authorization in the console? Their player stops within up to two minutes, even if they are in the middle of watching. Their code no longer works. There's no need to change codes for everyone.
If you only want to disconnect a device without revoking the code (for example, the wrong device is playing), there's a session disconnection that keeps the code valid.
What About Filtered Networks?
The viewing page is a regular web page at bima.live, without external scripts or embedded content from other sites. Approving the address with the filtering provider opens everything. The address is approved on Rimon, Etrog, NetSpark and SafeTech, and we assist with the process for further providers.
Frequently asked
A viewer forgot their code. What should I do?
Issue them a new code in the console and revoke the old one. The old code stops working immediately.
Can I give one code to the whole family?
Yes. In the broadcast settings, define allowed devices per code (up to 5), or use a shared code.
Does the viewer need an email or phone?
No. Only the code. You decide how to deliver it to them - message, email, printed sheet at the hall entrance.
