From a Leaked Screenshot - To the Person
8 characters from the screenshot, one field in the log, and you have a name. Including what to do next.
Steps
- 1
Read the Mark
In the leaked screenshot, look for the watermark: name (if personal code), and next to it an 8-character identifier in English letters and numbers, and a time. Write down the 8 characters. Not sure if it's an O or a 0? It doesn't matter - the system treats them the same.
- 2
Open the Audit Log
From 'My Organizations' click 'Audit Log'. At the top, there is a card 'Locate by Watermark'.
Where: My Organizations > Audit Log
- 3
Type and Locate
Enter the 8 characters (with or without a hyphen) and click 'Locate'. You will get: The viewer (name and group), the broadcast, when they joined, and status - whether they are still viewing, whether the code is active.
- 4
Take Action
From the result, there is a link to the broadcast. There: 'Disconnect' in the viewers panel, or 'Revoke Access' in the codes panel. Both actions take effect within up to two minutes.
- 5
Documentation
The location itself is recorded in the log ('Locate Viewer by Watermark'), as are the disconnection or revocation. You have a full chain of evidence.
How you know it worked
- The result displays a name and broadcast.
- The log shows a line 'Locate Viewer by Watermark' with your name.
