Issue Viewing Codes - Personal or Shared
From issuance to sending to viewers, including what to do with an audience of hundreds.
Steps
- 1
Open the Codes Panel
On the broadcast page, scroll to 'Viewing Codes'.
Where: Broadcast Page > Viewing Codes
- 2
Select Type
'Issue Personal Code' - a code with a name for each viewer (the name will appear on the watermark). 'Issue Shared Code' - one code for everyone. Both can be used in the same broadcast.
- 3
Enter Names
For a personal code: the viewer's name. You can enter multiple names at once (one name per line) - each name receives a code. Up to 500 at a time.
Tip: Add a group label ('Women's Section', 'Committee') - it appears in the viewer list and helps with orientation.
- 4
Copy Immediately
Codes are displayed only once, alongside the viewing link. Copy everything (there is a 'Copy' button) before closing. After that, only a fingerprint of the code is saved - it cannot be displayed again.
- 5
Send to Viewers
Each viewer receives: a viewing link + their code. This can be done via message, email, or a printed page. The code is forgiving for typing: uppercase/lowercase letters, O/0, I/1 - all are accepted.
How you know it worked
- In the Codes panel, a row appears for each viewer in 'Active' and 'Not yet used' status.
- After a viewer enters, 'Not yet used' disappears, and they appear in the 'Viewers in Broadcast' panel.
