What the Viewer Sees - From Code to Player
Your viewer's journey, so you know what to explain to them.
Steps
- 1
The Link
The viewer opens the viewing link they received. This is a page at bima.live/watch/... - a regular page, no installation, no registration.
- 2
The Code
A simple screen: 'Enter the viewing code'. The viewer types the 8 characters (with or without a hyphen) and clicks 'Enter'. Incorrect entry - a clear message, no lockout.
- 3
Waiting Room
If the broadcast is scheduled but not yet live, the viewer sees a branded waiting screen. As soon as the broadcast goes live - the player opens automatically, without refreshing.
- 4
The Player
Video, volume and quality control, full screen. Over the video, a subtle watermark with their name and identifier. The broadcast refreshes itself every two minutes in the background - the viewer does not notice it.
- 5
Device Switch
Logged in with the same code from another phone? The first device receives a 'Viewing has moved to another device' notification within up to two minutes. Refreshing or network disconnection on the same device - does not disconnect.
- 6
End of Broadcast
When the manager ends the broadcast, the player displays 'The broadcast has ended'. The code no longer works for this broadcast.
How you know it worked
- The viewer sees video and a watermark.
- In the console, they appear under 'Live Viewers' with the name and identifier shown on their screen.
